Meeting Location

Our meeting place is the large classroom in the Tropicals greenhouse at North Haven Gardens on the 4th Sunday of the month, Jan - Oct.  Refreshments beginning at 2:30pm.  Meeting start at 3:00pm. North Haven Gardens is located at 7700 Northaven Road, Dallas, 75230.  See map.

Tom WiltenDallas County Master Gardener, will give us a presentation on

Plant  Propagation.

Are you ready to solve the mystery of propagating new plants?  Learn how to create new plants from cuttings, division, and layering, and discover the ABCs of seed collection, storage, and germination. Tom loves to watch plants grow and has been a member of the First Men’s Garden Club of Dallas since 1985 and served 2 years as President, as well as national director and regional President of the parent organization.  He joined the Dallas County Master Gardeners in 2007 and became a certified Propagation Specialist in the fall of 2008.  Now Tom teaches plant propagation to the Master Gardener students each year.

2:30 refreshments, 3pm meeting start.
