April meeting
- Wednesday, April 08, 2026

The Greater Dallas Organic Garden club invites you to attend our meeting on Sunday, April 26nd, 2026 when our speaker is Barbara Goldman. The topic is:
Give Herbs the Spotlight
Yes, herbs are used for culinary and medicinal purposes, but they are so much more than that. Learn how to showcase the beauty of herbs in your landscape and feature them in containers. This talk will have you excited about new ways to showcase herbs in your garden.
Barbara was raised on a farm in Kansas and couldn’t wait to leave! However growing things was in her blood, and houseplants, hanging baskets and African violets became a hobby
After a career as a Medical Microbiologist, she later became a chef/nutritionist with a specialty in plant-based cuisine and phytonutrients (plant nutrients) and is the co-author of The Phytopia Cookbook. Barbara became a Dallas County Master Gardener in 2005 and loves growing herbs and using them in her culinary creations.
